Mickey-D's well done fries, and burger with 4 pickles
I ordered my hamburger with the four pickles and I made sure to tell him that there must to be four pickles. No more, no less. The fries with no salt was easy to get; the person who took my order immediately turned around to the person who was standing by the French fry fryer to make a new batch of fries with no salt and he told me that it would be three minutes. In total, it took two people to complete my entire order and a little less than four minutes to receive it. Surprisingly, I didn’t get any weird looks when I asked for four pickles and nor did I see any one who wanted to spit in my food. It seemed as if my order was very common! Apparently it wasn’t the first time they have had this request because I received my order in a timely manner and accurately. The guy taking my order just said to the lady in the back “4 pickles.” For my fries, they took a little bit longer to make, the guy had to pull out a new batch and after a few minutes my order was ready. Four pickles on my delicate hamburger and no salt on my bland French fries.
The hardest part of writing the management process that I experienced was the fact that there didn’t seem to be any. The McDonalds I went to is located in the heart of Chinatown and is known to be extremely slow with horrible service. I guess enough people complained because I was dreading to go to this McDonalds but had a good exprience experience. It was a routine order that was a easy to place. Overall I was satisfied and would give them a nine out of ten for service. The only problem I ran into was trying to get a receipt. I only saw two pickles on the receipt the guy responded by saying that he can’t physically type in four pickles but he can put extra pickles and his reasoning behind this was that since there are by default two pickles on each burger, extra pickles would mean two more to add up to four. After trying several times the guy taking my order asked his co-worker who then helped him print me a receipt. So considering that I would recommend they would make for special orders is to make their “keyboard” more equipped to type in an exact number of what people want and be able to print out a receipt easier.

Imagining the future

In class we saw a video called "The Power of Vision". The main idea of this video was that it is important to have a vision to be able to have success in the future. I agree with this because if you don't have a vision you can't make a effort to achieve your goal. While if you have a vision you can work hard to achieve what you want and beome successful.
With that said I have created a vision for my own future
1) To hold a high position in the Finance field.
2) Earn enough money to buy a really nice house and buy the nice cars that will be coming out in the future like the picture above. LOL
3) Travel the world - I want to visit several different countries particularly Europe and Asia
4)Getting my masters degree.
Accomplishing these goals that I have set will be difficult. Holding a high position in the Finance field will require me to put forward a lot of effort. I will be required to ask many questions and learn as much as possible in the workplace. I would need to gain experience and knowledge in the field to be able to advance in position. I think right now I'm off to a good start since I currently am interning at JP Morgan. As for my other goals like earning enough money to buy a nice house goes hand in hand with number one because it would require me to work hard at whatever job I have and be able to advance in levels and it would lead to me having a high position. The vision which I think which will be accomplished before any of the others is getting my masters degree. Nowadays there are many students going to college and getting degrees so I feel I need a masters to put me a step ahead of everyone else. Traveling to different countries is just a personal goal that I have. I just want to experience different cultures and learn about other countries. This vision is not going to be easy to accomplish but I will work hard to achieve and hopefully I will be successful in fulfilling this vision!

Bas-EGG-Ball

This was an interesting activity that we had to do, to drop a egg into a basket, without it cracking using 8 straws and some tape while dropping it with your arms straight while standing on a table. I think my group did well for step one. We wanted to make some sort of nest to protect the egg from cracking. Step 2 also wasn't a problem for us at all. We came up with several different ideas, and for many of them, we also came up with flaws. My team however bypassed Step 3 which is to generate alternative scenarios which may happen. One thing we forgot to discuss was how far out to stand on the table so we can get the egg in the basket without hitting the side of the basket, causing the egg to crack before it even goes in. So for the fourth step we just went along with our plan to create a little nest around the egg, I think we had well thought out plan. For the 5th step of implementation I was the person in my team that took the shot for 5 extra credit points, I don't think I was standing far enough on the edge of the table, so when I dropped the egg, it hit the side of the basket (the picture is a good representation of what happened to the egg) and the egg yolk splattered into the basket. So we got 0 points and lost the bas-EGG-ball game! I'm sure if we had the opportunity to do this again we would be well prepared. Overall I feel my team did a good job, even though we didn't get the points. We were able to communicate well and devise a strong plan. We could have been more effective if we thought about our task at hand more thoroughly by thinking about things that could have hand us back and how we would've handled them. But I still think we tried hard, and did very well.
